Science Odyssey is Canada’s biggest science festival, bringing together science professionals and enthusiasts to raise the awareness on their field among the general public. I gave a brief introductory presentation about rover navigation on the Martian surface.

I had the honor to cover the Perseverance rover landing with the Amateur Astronomers Association of Quebec and give a talk about the rover’s navigation subsystems. Only available in French.

I participated in the University of Toronto Robotics Institute’s 3MT competition, for which we have three minutes to summarize our academic research to a panel of judges not familiar with the field.

I participated in the 2020 University Rover Challenge (URC) alumni panel to give advice to the current URC participants and share some lessons that my team learned when we participated in the URC a few years before.

I had a live conversation about my projects with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the challenges of robotic planetary navigation with Marie-Michèle Limoges from the Cosmodôme / Space Camp Canada. Only available in French.

Two of my colleagues and myself presented the first McGill Robotics Mars rover after competing at the 2015 University Rover Challenge and earning the third place at the 2015 European Rover Challenge. We also shared some lessons learned along the way.
